Company History
 Founded
in 1982, Elite is the USA's original and largest private cheer
camp organization! Not
content to follow the pack, Elite's founder, Michael Nuzzo,
created the private camp concept. This personal environment is a
more effective, convenient,
and cost-efficient format. Today private camps account for over
30% of all summer cheer camps!
During
Elite's first summer, Mr. Nuzzo and his partner, Theresa,
personally taught each of the 400 participants. During the
summer of 2004, Elite will instruct over 12,000 students in a
40-state area! Elite's staff, which includes over 100 of the
nation's finest cheerleaders, will travel over 500,000 miles
conducting over 800 private camps.
 Throughout
the past 24 years, Elite has coached the University of Pittsburgh
Cheerleaders & Dance Team. Many of these squads placed in the
top ten at the national collegiate level, and won the All-Girl
Division in 1992, 1993, and 1994. A feat which had never been
accomplished. This daily contact with cheerleaders
on the university level enables our curriculum staff to stay
current with all the latest styles and techniques in the industry.
As the original
private camp, it is our goal to continue to set the pace for all others to
follow. We have worked very hard to develop Elite into a camp which is not only
affordable and convenient, but also effective and quality-oriented.
